The same critical moment is unfolding in clinics around the world right now—and in many places, what’s needed still isn’t there.
Around the world, mothers are still arriving in critical moments…and the room isn’t ready.

FOUNDER, SAVING MOSES
Writing from South Sudan
The crisis moments you’ve seen in clinics this month aren’t isolated.
The same moment is happening again—in different clinics, in different regions, with different families facing the same risk.
In some places, the room is ready. Someone is trained. The basic tools are within reach. And because of that, the outcome changes.
But in many others, this isn’t the case.
In South Sudan, I saw clinics operating without even the most basic supplies. No clean tools. No consistent training. No way to respond when something goes wrong.
Around the world, mothers are still arriving in critical moments…and the room isn’t ready.
And when that’s the reality, what happens next is often decided before anything can be done.
This is not a rare situation.
It’s a continuing crisis—happening anywhere the need is urgent and care is least available.
Another baby is about to take their first breath—or struggle for it.
And whether help is there…is what determines the outcome.
It happens when someone steps in before the moment comes—equipping clinics, training caregivers, and ensuring the basics are in place when everything is on the line.
You’ve seen the difference. Now the question is:
Will help be there next time?
